IMAGE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CUMBERLAND COUNTY SCHOOLS CCS TO DISMISS STUDENTS TWO HOURS EARLY THURSDAY FEB 20. DISTRICT WILL OPERATE ON A TWO-HOUR DELAY ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 21ST. IN ANTICIPATION OF INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS, CUMBERLAND COUNTY SCHOOLS WILL DISMISS TWO HOURS EARLY ON THURSDAY FEB 20. ALL AFTER-SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AND EVENING EVENTS ARE CANCELLED. PRIME TIME WILL OPERATE FOR TWO HOURS AFTER THE DISMISSAL OF STUDENTS. CCS INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN FOCUSES ON THE SAFETY OF STUDENTS AND STAFF. DISTRICT LEADERS WANT TO ENSURE SCHOOL BUSES ARE OFF THE ROADS BEFORE CONDITIONS DETERIORATE. ON FRIDAY FEBRUARY 21 CCS WILL OEPRATE ON A TWO-HOUR DELAY. THERE WILL BE NO MORNING PRIME TIME. HOWEVER, SCHOOL BREAKFAST WILL BE AVAILABLE. DISTRICT OFFICIALS WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS AND SHARE UPDATES AS NECESSARY. FAMILIES MAY VISIT THE DISTRICT'S WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES TO RECEIVE UPDATES REGARDING DELAYS AND SCHOOLS CLOSINGS.
