Every Minute Counts...
County Schools (CCS) is committed to helping students succeed by promoting regular attendance. Since the pandemic, absenteeism has increased, so CCS launched a district-wide campaign in September 2024 to raise awareness and support families in overcoming attendance challenges.
“Our goal is to ensure students are present and engaged in the classroom every day,” said Dr. Melody Chalmers McClain, associate superintendent for Student Support Services. “This policy is designed to promote accountability while providing support to families facing challenges.”

Eastover-Central Elementary School of Arts ensures that all students reach their academic potential while also engrossing them in a rich and diverse arts education. All members of our staff and faculty look to placing student-centered instruction first and foremost in every class each and every day.
